ABOUT THE WJYAA

The West Jefferson Youth (WJYAA) is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization dedicated to providing quality athletic programs to help the youth of our community develop sports skills and positive character traits such as teamwork, sportsmanship and leadership.

To make sports accessible to all of the youth in the community, WJY has some of the lowest sign-up fees in central Ohio. The fees collected do not cover the cost associated with running the sports programs. The deficit is made up through concession sales, fundraising, and limited sponsorship's.

EVENT INFORMATION: 
Having the community participate in a 5K fundraiser allows the children to see a good example of a healthy lifestyle. It also encourages a lifelong commitment to being active and supporting the next generation in developing healthy habits. 100% of the proceeds made through the 5K will go to further the WJY’s commitment to offering athletic programs to the children in the community.

THE REWARDS: 
Registration fee includes refreshments, an event t-shirt and a bag of goodies. You must be registered by August 22nd, to receive a tactical race day shirt and bag of goodies. All registrations received after August 23, 2019 will receive an event t-shirt and goodies while supplies last.
